Job Summary:

An individual in this position will be responsible for the sale of new/used vehicles by utilizing extensive product knowledge to create value for the customer. On a day to day basis, they will be expected to:

• Acquire/maintain general product knowledge on all vehicles on the lot in order to deliver this information to the customer efficiently.
• Develop/maintain a prospecting system to reach out to new customers.
• Follow up with all customers after each sale.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 of dealership sales experience required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet dealership insurance requirements.
• Professional appearance required (maintain business casual appearance at minimum).

Training Requirements:

• All new employees are required to complete their Ford Training within 2-weeks of hire to ensure that they have properly been certified to handle Ford products.

Skills:

• Strong communication skills to properly/confidently explain information, and to converse with customers/clients.
• Ability to reach out to more customers through prospecting.
• Ability to maintain a good working relationship with other sales and dealership staff.
• Achievement-motivated to work with the sales manager to achieve department goals.

Work Hours:

• 9:00am - 6:00pm (M-F)
• 8:30am - 3:00pm (SAT)
• One designated day off during the week, and 1-hour lunch break.

Wages, Benefits, and Growth Opportunities:

• Based on a commission basis: $3500 Guarantee for the first 3-months.
